At Alice Ganesan, we work exclusively with natural dyes, celebrating India’s botanical richness while embracing processes that are gentle on the earth, skin, and soul.

We explore diverse artisanal techniques like tie and dye, hand painting, and traditional printing, creating one-of-a-kind textiles that reflect slow, mindful craftsmanship.

Our colours are drawn entirely from nature:

• Madder root for deep reds
• Marigold petals, annatto seeds, and pomegranate rind for golden yellows to warm oranges
• Indigo and Clitoria (shankhpushpi) for serene blues
• Sappanwood and lilies for soft pinks and blush tones
• Wedelia for lush greens
• Palash and Tacoma flowers for vibrant ochres and fiery tones
• Cutch for rich, earthy browns

To ensure lasting vibrancy, we use age-old, plant-based mordants such as myrobalan, gallnut, and other natural fixatives.

Each shade is seasonal, each piece unique—because when you let nature lead, beauty follows.
